“… Jeremy was incredibly engaged, well researched, and well spoken in presentations. He was clearly a leader in the field and was actively involved in professional organizations. He helped coordinate activities and through his volunteer work, built valuable relationships in the interior design field.
“As a professional, I have enjoyed continuing to learn from Jeremy as he gain(ed) accreditations, manages his own practice, and collaborates with other designers. … He produce(d) excellent work with an eye for detail and a lovely sense of style and was a critical part in the project success. Even more important, Jeremy is always focused on the success of the team over his own personal gain. He brings a collaborative and dynamic energy to his projects.”

“While designing our dream home for retirement, our architect introduced Jeremy Bitter from JBD. Jeremy immediately began cataloging our existing collection of antiques and artwork to identify potential design elements. He returned with fresh ideas and exquisite textiles that brought new life to our traditional taste and it was not boring!
“Jeremy presented samples of beautiful materials, including carpets, fabric, wood and metals, along with visuals allowing us to imagine their combined appearance. He proposed designs to renovate some of our existing furniture, transforming them into new pieces and preventing them from ending up in landfills. Jeremy meticulously designed and coordinated all aspects of the furniture and finishes, including finishes, wallpaper, decor, and drapery, including all the outdoor furniture for the property. He even created custom furniture pieces and hand-knotted rugs in silk and wool; traditional and modern."
“Reflecting on the project, we faced thousands of decisions and an unlimited array of options. Jeremy guided us through the process, helping us distill overwhelming choices into manageable pieces that we could review and make informed decisions about. He consistently provided alternate options when requested, resulting in an absolutely beautiful project that perfectly complemented our desire for color and style. The quality of the architecture and design by Polsky Perlstein Architects and JBD has stood the test of time, providing us with a cherished space to create memories and enjoy with friends, family and grandchildren.”

“A country home near San Francisco became our base for raising our family. The location was appealing, but many aspects of the house were outdated and needed renovation. Jeremy, our lead designer, played a pivotal role in the project. He helped us create detailed furniture plans and prioritized construction tasks to expedite the move-in process. Jeremy transformed spaces from a more basic style to a refined, high-end build with extensive millwork, custom cabinetry, and drapery. His drawings and sketches helped us envision things along the way.
“The primary bedroom had been constructed in an attic space, resulting in an awkward layout with a low sloped ceiling that made it difficult to stand up. Jeremy helped us reimagine this space with more symmetry and added a wall that centered the room, making it more livable. He also redesigned the existing French door to a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, allowing us to wake up each morning to a breathtaking forest view bathed in natural light. At night, we could quickly close up with our new automated drapery. Remarkably, nothing was lost in this transformation; our designer cleverly incorporated the unusable space into our dream closet, providing ample storage space for all our clothes.
“Jeremy was a pleasure to work with. He handled all aspects of the project, from bathroom remodeling and coordinating with our contractor to selecting and designing furniture, artwork, lighting, and accessories, all perfectly coordinated. He was always flexible, offering options that aligned with our family’s needs and style. He even designed a freestanding end table with concealed charging for all our devices, with one drawer per family member, significantly reducing clutter and wires from our lives. All of these things allowed us to focus on our careers and raising our family while creating our dream home. We are confident that this project was worth every penny and has significantly improved the quality of our lives. We highly recommend Jeremy’s design work!”

“Inspired by travels in Bali, I began a gut renovation of my San Francisco home. I soon realized I might be in trouble and needed an interior designer, not just a contractor. I hired Jeremy and Ariana from JBD Interiors to address issues such as creating construction and 3D drawings, selecting and coordinating all finishes, and resolving color discrepancies with the materials I’d chosen. They also provided furniture space plans and helped me incorporate pops of color I’d wanted, without overwhelming the space. They designed a custom slotted stone sink, cabinetry, and decorative niches with accent lighting for my Asian artifacts. Their 3D drawings and expertise were invaluable. They also introduced new materials, such as natural fiber wallcovering, silver leaf finishes, and glass with embedded botanicals, which enhanced the space’s vibe and architecture. This design investment has benefited me personally and my visitors as a high-end vacation rental. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!”
